Montivilliers Abbey

An 11th century abbey, the only one of its kind in Normandy...

Located half-way between Etretat and Honfleur, Montivilliers abbey is one of the most beautiful and prestigious abbeys in Normandy.

The abbey, which has been completely restored, offers a unique scenographic circuit. The audio-guided tour reveals the daily life of the monks which revolved around prayers and work. Visit the cloister, the chapter house, dormitory and prestigious Gothic refectory transformed into a temporary exhibition hall.

This cultural site is open throughout the year for visits, conferences, themed events and temporary exhibitions.
